Datpresenter engages Silicon Vally Link to bring synchronised WebTV to the USA

Silicon Valley Link has announced its appointment as US Channel Manager for Datpresenters’s range of WebTV software solutions. Silicon Valley Link will be demonstrating Datpresenter at the Streaming Media West show in San Jose starting November 17th, Booth 728, and will be introducing Datpresenter and its solutions across its growing distribution network in the United States.

Datpresenter enables web TV audiences to engage in a new, accessible, creative and interactive way. Users of Datpresenter can create and brand their own WebTV channel, and add additional synchronized rich media to their video programs.  Datpresenter's highly compliant libraries of live and on-demand webcasts can be used in both educational and business environments, including presentation sessions for online audiences during which users can simultaneously experience a streaming video synchronized with PowerPoint, active web content, and even pre-recorded secondary video clips.

Datpresenter meets with W3C industry standards and is SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) compliant, underlining its suitability for delivering high quality training materials both off and online.

No specialized skills are required to create interactive programming as the Datpresenter Wizard helps users build diverse content through a simple set of mouse clicks.  The content can also be published online or offline, via a website, a social network (such as LinkedIn and Facebook) or physical media (such as CD/DVD or USB flash drive).

New features Include:

  • Full integration with Moodle LMS and LexisNexis InterAction CRM
  • TrueSync Live streaming integration with Viewcast and Digital Rapids encoders
  • Enhanced m4a iTunes-compliant podcasting using a single audio file and multiple still image slides
  • Rapid custom skinning of players using a multilayer PNG file

Datpresenter has been developed for a small group of prestige customers and the full product is now available for general distribution across world markets, including the United States.
