Professor Paul Davies’s from Arizona State University delivered an online presentation on the 26th January for The Royal Society’s WebTV channel titled ‘The eerie silence: are we alone in the universe?’ The presentation was a huge success, with over 1500 live viewers. The ET/life on other planets angle caught a lot of peoples’ imagination which generated a huge amount of global interest. At the time of release the presentation had been viewed a further 4000 times.
Thankfully Datpresenter’s WebTV platform and the Royal Society’s infrastructure could handle both the live and on-demand requests ensuring a pleasant experience for all viewers.
